Welcome to my blog!
My name is Tony Duran, and I’m excited to share my journey with you. I’ve had the privilege of serving in the Army for 16 years as an infantryman, where I completed multiple combat tours and had the opportunity to attend the prestigious US Army Sniper School. These experiences have taken me to many different states and several countries, shaping my resilience and dedication, and leading me to where I am today.
I’m now a proud father and a 2nd-year law student, working as a legal intern for a respected criminal defense lawyer in Louisville. My goal is to help veterans transition to civilian careers, especially those interested in the legal field. I want to share insights on veterans’ rights and the challenges of transitioning from military to civilian life.
One of my key missions is to provide support for veterans using the GI Bill and exploring student loan forgiveness options. I believe that education and proper guidance can empower veterans to achieve their dreams and build fulfilling post-military careers.
Through this blog, I aim to reflect the broad support I’ve received and give back to the community that has supported me. Whether you’re a veteran, a law student, a small business owner, or simply interested in the legal field, I hope you’ll find valuable information and inspiration here.
Thank you for joining me on this journey. I look forward to sharing my experiences, offering advice, and learning together. Stay tuned for more posts on topics ranging from legal insights to personal stories, all aimed at helping you navigate your own path with confidence and support.
Warm regards,
Tony Duran
